WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Randolph O. "Buddy" Debrick Jr., 80, of 12819 Pen Mar Road, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at Quincy United Methodist Home.

Born May 19, 1928, in Thomasville, Ga., he was the son of the late Randolph O. Sr. and Daisy Sites Debrick.

He was a graduate of Washington Township High School with the class of 1946.

He was self-employed as a painting contractor, retiring in the mid-1970s.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of more than 58 years, Phyllis D. Sollenberger Debrick; two daughters, Debra E. Wagaman and Darlene E. Shriner, both of Waynesboro; four sons, Randolph L. Debrick of Sabillasville, Roderick O. Debrick of Chambersburg, Pa., Regan O. Debrick and Roland O. Debrick, both of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.


He was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Hind.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, near Rouzerville, Pa.
