She was an elementary teacher for the Waynesboro School District, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Blue Rock United Brethren Church, Waynesboro, where she taught Sunday school for 25 years and was a member of Women's Missionary Society and Willing Workers Sunday School class.
She also was a member of Franklin County Retired Teachers Association, Waynesboro Area Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association, National Education Association and National AARP.
She is survived by one daughter, Bonita C. Yocum of Chambersburg; two sons, Max E. Creager and D. Lamar Creager, both of Waynesboro; one sister, Dorothy Nusbaum of Gulfport, Fla.; three brothers, Harry Biser of Winston Salem, N.C., and Herbert Biser and Walter Biser, both of Thurmont, Md.; four stepsisters, Marjorie Rosenberry and Jean Kuntz, both of Harrisburg, Pa., Martha Weigle of San Diego, Calif., and Ruby Flynn of Seattle, Wash.; two stepbrothers, John Royer of Flintstone, Md., and Joe Royer of Thurmont, Md.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Samuel Royer; two brothers, Donald Biser and Leon Biser; and a stepsister, Lillie Dunlap.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blue Rock United Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro. Pastor Gregory Helman and Chaplain Vernon D. Isner will officiate. Burial will be in Quincy Cemetery, Quincy, Pa.
The family will receive friends at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home in Waynesboro from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
