Didia Marie Lund, 91, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at NMS Healthcare of Hagerstown.
Born Feb. 10, 1918, in Rome, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Didio and Elizabeth (Michaud) Allegretti.
She was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Hagerstown.
She worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert R. Lund Sr.
Didia is also survived by a daughter, Linda Lund Gaver; a son, Robert Lund Jr. and wife, Nancy Marie; two granddaughters, Cara Didia Gaver and Siena Marie Lund; and two grandsons, Robert Gaver and Alexander Michaux Lund, all of Hagerstown. She is also survived by many relatives in Terni, Italy, including one brother, Maurio Allegretti; and cousin, Alba Fusaroli.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her stepmother, Columbina Canali Allegretti; and one brother, Maurice Allegretti.
