Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.

Dogs

Adult pit bull terrier, tan and white, found on Central Avenue.

Adult shepherd mix, black and brown, found on Kingstown Drive.

Senior miniature pinscher, black and tan, found on Md. 64 in Smithsburg.

Adult Bichon Frise/poodle mix, white, found on White Pine Drive.

Young Australian cattle dog mix, black, white and tan, found at Dawg Wash on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Young Rottweiler/Labrador mix, black and tan, found on Herman Myers Road.

Senior beagle, black, white and brown, found in the Park Circle area.
