ZULLINGER, Pa. - Darlene Kay Cline, 59, of Zullinger, Pa., died following an extended illness on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Waynesboro Hospital in Waynesboro, Pa.

Born Jan. 18, 1950, in Gettysburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Morris A. and Julia Anna (Crum) Eyler Sr. She was the wife of Dennis L. Cline.

Darlene was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Emmitsburg, Md.

She had a very long work history, including the following places of employment as a nursing assistant - 12 years at Rotorex in Walkersville, Md., Beck Manufacturing, Random House in Westminster, Md., and Black and Decker in Hampstead, Md.

She loved all kinds of music, animals and visiting the ocean. She had a love for life and especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, friends and family.

Surviving her, in addition to her husband, are one brother, Morris "Mickey" A. Eyler Jr., and one sister, Betty Ann Redding, both of Emmitsburg; and several loving and devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 313 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, with her pastor, the Rev. John Rudolph, officiating. Interment will follow in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and again Tuesday from noon until the time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Morris "Mickey" Eyler Jr. Trust Fund, c/o Ms. Debbie N. Smith, P.O. Box 478, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.

Arrangements are by Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, Emmitsburg.
