Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

MYERSVILLE, Md. - Antietam Camp 3. Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m. St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Ceremony to honor Capt. Jacob Koogle, a Civil War veteran and Medal of Honor recipient. Gettysburg Camp 12 will provide a color guard in period uniform. Descendants of Jacob Koogle are urged to attend, and are asked to contact Karl Woodcock at 301-663-5056.

Dog wash

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -Saturday, March 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wilson College veterinary building near the Park Avenue campus entrance off U.S. 11. Cost is $5 for toy dogs, $8 for small dogs, $13 for medium dogs, $18 for large dogs and $22 for extra-large or double-coated dogs. Fee includes a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning and drying, performed by Wilson College Veterinary Medical Technology club members. Proceeds benefit both the club and Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.

Car, truck and motorcycle show

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Saturday, March 28, show vehicle registration from 7:30 to 10 a.m., show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hedgesville High School. Registration is $15 in advance or $20 day of show.
