Dog valued at $1,700 stolen from Chambersburg pet shop
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- A woman took a $1,700 Pug dog Tuesday from The Pet Shop, 1710 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg, Pa., Pennsylvania State Police said.
The dog was described as tan, and weighing about 4.5 pounds, troopers said in a news release.
The woman was described as white, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 185 pounds, and has red hair, troopers said.
Incidents reported in Washington County
The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded recently to the following incidents, according to Sgt. Roy Harsh:
Monday, March 23:
o At 11:39 a.m., assault was reported in the 18600 block of Carolyn Street.
o At 1:08 p.m., credit card offenses were reported from the 11300 block of Youngstoun Drive.
o At 1:36 p.m., theft from a vehicle was reported in the 18300 block of Lyles Drive.
o At 1:43 p.m., theft was reported in the area of Londontowne. Someone took a leaf blower.
