LARGO, Md. -- Hagerstown Community College dominated Prince George's in a Maryland JuCo Conference doubleheader sweep Wednesday.

In the first game for HCC (6-3, 2-2), Megan Holmes (2-0) pitched a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and Emily Myers and Brittany Main each had two RBIs.

In the second game for HCC, Myers and Amanda Waltman each had three hits, while Myers and Main each had four RBIs.

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Matt McCarty broke a 2-2 tie with a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to help lift Shepherd University over Shippensburrg.

Tyler Beard and Trey Stewart had two hits each for the Rams (12-10). Shepherd first baseman Nathan Minnich's school-record 20-game hitting streak ended.
