ROCKVILLE, Md. -- Tay Sidler had two hits and four RBIs, including a three-run homer that keyed HCC's five-run rally with two outs in the top of the ninth inning of the Hawks' victory against Montgomery-Rockville.
Kameron Armacost began the rally with a one-out walk and was driven in by a Daniel Heatwole double with two outs in the ninth. Charles Johnson followed with an RBI single and, after a Justin Everhart walk, Sidler homered to plate the eventual winning run.
Johnson led the HCC offense with four hits and four RBIs, including a two-run home run in the fifth. Matt Greene tripled three times while Heatwole added three hits and Tommy Evans and Zach Cook each added two hits. John Byram pitched a scoreless ninth for his third save of the season for the Hawks (18-7).
