CATONSVILLE, Md. -- Hagerstown Community College lost both games of its doubleheader.

In the first game for HCC, Daniel Heatwole had three hits and two RBIs, and Justin Everhart had two hits.

John Barrett, Neil Callahan and Heatwole each had two hits in the second game for the Hawks (17-7).

WRESTLING

Freestyle/Greco tourney at North

The Maryland State Wrestling Association, in conjunction with the Washington County Wrestling Officials Association, are sponsoring the "Path to Fargo" West Region Freestyle/Greco Wrestling Tournament to be held April 5 at North Hagerstown High School.

Greco wrestling begins at 9 a.m., while the freestyle action begins 1 p.m. A technique/rules clinic will be held at noon.

A USA Wrestling Card is required to compete.

The divisions are Kids (born 1995 through 2002), Cadet (born 1993-94), Junior (high school) and Open (post high school).

The tournament will beneft Williamsport senior Katie Stains, who is battling cancer.

RUNNING

American Odyssey Relay race

The inaugural American Odyssey Relay Run Adventure -- a 200-mile relay race, beginning in Gettysburg, Pa., and finishing in Washington, D.C. -- will be held April 24-25.

The Odyssey Oasis, a mid-race gathering of all 12 teammates, will be held at Boonsboro High School.
