Candy Easter eggs

WILLIAMSPORT - Candy Easter egg orders may be picked up on Monday and Tuesday evenings, March 23, 24, 30 and 31, and April 6 and 7, after 6 p.m., at Calvary Temple, 147 S. Conococheague St., lower level fellowship hall. The egg selection includes chocolate-covered peanut butter, chocolate-covered coconut, white chocolate-covered peanut butter, white chocolate-covered coconut, and the smoothie egg, peanut butter egg covered with melted peanut butter chocolate; 75 cents each. Call LaRue Ardinger at 301-582-1309. Order by Tuesday, March 31, indicating how many of each kind and which evening you will pick them up.

Washington County Historical Society annual dinner

Thursday, March 26, 6 p.m. cash bar, 7 p.m. dinner, Fountain Head Country Club, Hagerstown. Menu includes broiled jumbo crab cake or sauted chicken breast, with roasted red potatoes, vegetable, rolls, ice cream and cookies. The program will be "Washington County's Contribution to World War II", presented by T. Jeff Driscoll. Cost is $30 per person. "Evening in Tuscany" Italian dinner

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Saturday, March 28, 6 p.m. Oller House, 138 W. Main St. Waynesboro Historical Society hosts a dinner of Italian specialties. Cost is $35 for nonmembers, $30 for members. Price includes food, wine, beer, coffee, tea, and music. Reservations required no later than Monday, March 23. Swing into Spring '50s and '60s dance
