Grove-Michael



Brittany Lynne Grove and Justin Carew Michael of Clear Spring announce their engagement.

Ms. Grove is the daughter of Terry and Stephanie Grove of Hagerstown. She is a 2002 graduate of Boonsboro High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in speech language pathology. She is employed as a speech language pathologist for Washington County Public Schools.

Mr. Michael is the son of Jo Anne Michael of Clear Spring and the late Dennis Michael. He is a 2001 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a 2006 graduate of Frostburg State University with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education. He is employed as a health and physical education teacher for Washington County Public Schools.

A June 20, 2009, wedding is planned.




Dieterich-Holland



Roy and Sheila Dieterich of Martinez, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lauren, to Christopher Glenn Holland, son of Glenn Holland of Medford, Ore., and Christi Wagner of Anchorage, Alaska. Ms. Dieterich is the granddaughter of Vincent and Helen Crowell of Martinsburg, W.Va., and the late David and Mary Jane Dieterich.

Ms. Dieterich received a Bachelor of Science in English and rhetoric and a Master of Arts in teaching in secondary education from Georgia College and State University. She is employed as an English teacher at Putnam County High School in Eatonton, Ga.

Mr. Holland is a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.

A June 20, 2009, wedding is planned.




Coronel-Dunlap



John B. Dunlap and Marie Coronel announce their engagement.

Miss Coronel is the daughter of Norberto and Conchita Coronel of Las Vegas.

Mr. Dunlap is the son of J. Barry and Ruth Dunlap of Gettysburg, Pa., formerly of Elkton, Md.

Miss Coronel is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, Calif., and is a reporter at WTKR-TV in Norfolk, Va.

Mr. Dunlap is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Syracuse University College of Law. He is an assistant state's attorney for Washington County, and is an adjunct professor at Hagerstown Community College.

An April 2010 wedding is planned.




Happel-Householder



Stephanie Happel and Ryan Householder, both of Hagerstown, announce their engagement.

Ms. Happel is the daughter of Gary Happel of Waynesboro, Pa., and Norma Jean Aravanis of Hagerstown. She is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and is attending Hood College.

Mr. Householder is the son of Edward and Sharon Householder of Hagerstown. He is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and is employed by New Era Homes of Smithsburg.

An October 2009 wedding is planned.
