City police department responds to calls

March 22, 2009

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following recent calls.


· At 7:39 a.m., damage to exterior staircase tiles was reported at St. Maria Goretti High School at 1535 Oak Hill Ave.

· At 3:09 p.m., knives were confiscated in the 200 block of East Antietam Street.

· At 3:54 p.m., an attempted theft was reported in the 1500 block of Potomac Avenue.

· At 7:45 p.m., damage and theft from a vehicle were reported in the 700 block of Monet Drive. Portable electronic equipment was taken.


· At 3:57 a.m., a sexual assault was reported in the 900 block of South Potomac Street.

· At 4:40 p.m., a theft was reported in the 600 block of Washington Avenue. A wallet was taken.

· At 8:18 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported in the 300 block of Linganore Avenue.



· At 6:36 p.m., a BB gun was confiscated in the 1000 block of Noland Drive.
