Penn State Mont Alto

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Tara E. Blomvall has been hired as admissions counselor at Penn State Mont Alto, where she is responsible for recruitment and campus visitation programs, and assists potential students through the application process.

Her recruitment area includes Chambersburg Area, Waynesboro Area, Shippensburg, McConnellsburg, Big Spring, Southern Fulton and James Buchanan high schools in Pennsylvania and public high schools in Washington County, Md.

Blomvall holds a bachelor's degree from the Fox School of Business & Management at Temple University.

Orrstown Bank

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Joan Tacelosky has joined Orrstown Bank as a mortgage originator in the Lincoln Way East office in Chambersburg, Pa., and will serve the Chambersburg, Greencastle, Pa., and Hagerstown areas.


The Chambersburg Area Senior High School graduate holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Penn State University.

She is a licensed Realtor with seven years of experience as a mortgage adviser and has worked for Jack Gaughen Realtor, ERA Home Loans and other mortgage companies.

Business Networking International

Craig Kilgore and Kimberly Grunberg have joined Hagerstown's Wednesday lunch Business Networking International group.

Kilgore, of Kilgore Computer Services in Hagerstown, has more than 10 years of experience and assists local residents and businesses with technology needs.

Grunberg, of Enhanced Printing & Promotions, is an account representative who serves Hagerstown, Frederick, Md., and Chambersburg, Greencastle and Waynesboro in Pennsylvania. She has worked for Enhanced Printing & Promotions for 10 years.

Shelby Penn of Edward Jones in Hagerstown was recognized as top networker for January and February 2009. She also was top networker for 2008, recognizing the number of qualified referrals and highest actual dollars other members generated from those referrals.

Callas Contractors

Derek Mellott was named the safest employee for the month of February by Callas Contractors Inc.

Mellott has worked for the company since June 2007 and has been accident- and injury-free.

Walter Jays and Jerry Taylor were named the safest superintendents for February 2009.

Jays has been with the company for more than 26 years and never had a serious injury.

Taylor has been with the company for more than 15 years and never had a serious injury.

City Hospital

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Dr. James Paskert has been named vice president of medical affairs at City Hospital.

Paskert is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been in private practice in Baltimore for the past 20 years.

As vice president of medical affairs, Paskert will serve as the chief liaison to the medical staff, working closely with the medical staff leadership. He also will serve as a member of the WVUH-East executive leadership team.

He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his residency in general surgery at Harvard Surgical Service, New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston.

He completed a research fellowship in microvascular surgery at Johns Hopkins Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
