BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Donna Lee Unger, 46, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.
Born March 21, 1962, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of Mary Lee Clark Yost of Berkeley Springs and the late William Donald Diehl.
She was a graduate of Hancock High School.
She recently had worked as a 911 dispatcher for Morgan County.
She was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Hancock.
She was a registered member of the Iowa Indian Tribe.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, David C. Yost; one daughter, Amber N. Ritchie of Stephens City, Va.; one sister, Vicki A. Truax of Needmore, Pa.; one stepsister, Lori Shaffer of Berkeley Springs; three brothers, Jack L. McCarty of Hagerstown, Craig E. McCarty of Hot Springs, Va., and Scott W. Diehl of Berkeley Springs; two stepbrothers, Christopher Yost of Fairmont, W.Va., and David R. Yost of Berkeley Springs; one granddaughter; and a special friend, Lennie Youngblood of Berkeley Springs.
