Buffer in a Box program

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Antietam Watershed Association in partnership with Renfrew Institute for Cultural and Environmental Studies and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is sponsoring a Buffer in a Box Training Workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at the visitor center at Renfrew Museum and Park.

The workshop is part of Antietam Watershed Association's new program called Buffer in a Box. The program is designed to assist residential homeowners interested in restoring riparian (creek side) forest buffers along the Antietam Creek and its many tributaries.

The cost of the workshop is $10 and includes a packet of information, Antietam Watershed Association membership and the opportunity to apply for the BIB plant program for Pennsylvania Antietam Creek properties only.
