GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Allen R. Everetts, 50, of 12141 Cool Hollow Road, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at his home.
Born March 3, 1959, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry J. and Betty M. Lynch Everetts.
He was a 1978 graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg, Pa.
He was a carpenter and last was employed by Whispering Mountain Acoustical Co. in Mercersburg.
He attended Pleasant Hill Church in Coseytown, Pa., where he was a member of the Outreach Committee.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry L. Dorsey Everetts, whom he married April 29, 2006; one stepdaughter, Amber L. Weltz; two sisters, Shirley A. Crider of Greencastle and Nancy M. Robinson of Shippensburg, Pa.; and two brothers, Paul E. Everetts of Chambersburg and Alvin W. Everetts of Greencastle.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Joshua L. Everetts and Anthony J. Everetts; and one brother, Harry J. Everetts.
