Heeeeeere's Obama!

Look out Letterman! Jay Leno has scored the first appearance by a sitting U.S. president on a late-night TV talk show. President Obama will appear tonight at 11:35 on "The Tonight Show."

Game on

Get your brackets out. The Maryland Terps play California today at approximately 2:55 p.m. on CBS and the West Virginia Mountaineers play Dayton on Friday at about 3 p.m.

Sweet sounds

Listen for the second movement of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 at this weekend's Maryland Symphony Orchestra concerts. Guest pianist Chu-Fang Huang describes it as one of the "most serene and beautiful movements" for piano.

Vocal challenge

It's a battle "vocale" as 35 choirs from Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia compete Friday and Saturday during the Martinsburg High School Concert and Show Choir Festival.
