HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - John R. "Bob" DeLauder, 96, of 359 Jokado Lane, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at his home.

Born Nov. 4, 1912, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Robert Chester and Winifred Price DeLauder.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Cora DeLauder and Mary DeLauder.

He was employed as a designer by ILC Space Suits of Frederica, Del.

He was a member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Wilmington, Del., and Modern Maturity Center and Harvest Years Senior Center, both of Dover, Del.

He is survived by his wife, Martha B. Mann DeLauder, whom he married June 26, 1993; one daughter, Barbara L. Moor of Cheswold, Del.; one stepdaughter, Brenda McKissic of Morgantown, W.Va.; three stepsons, Larry E. Bivens of Charleston, W.Va., Carl W. Bivens of Morgantown and Kenneth L. Bivens of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one grandson; 11 stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson; 15 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.


He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Voshell; and one son, Allen DeLauder.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, Pa. The Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Lemasters, Pa.

Viewing will be one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home.
