Pa. man not guilty of sexual abuse

A Waynesboro, Pa., man who had been charged with sexually abusing a minor was found not guilty Thursday.

John William Smith, 41, of 208 W. Third St., faced a jury in Washington County Circuit Court Thursday.

Following a presentation of evidence, the judge granted a defense motion to acquit Smith of two charges of indecent exposure and a second-degree assault charge.

The remaining charges went to the jury, which found Smith not guilty of second-degree sexual offense and other charges
