Deputies respond to numerous calls
The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded recently to the following incidents, according to Lt. Mark Knight:
Friday, March 13:
- At 7:51 a.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 18600 block of Leslie Drive. Someone broke a window but nothing was taken.
- At 9:19 a.m., theft was reported in the 400 block of Magnolia Avenue. A camera was taken from a front porch.
- At 4:03 p.m., theft was reported in the 13000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Two trash cans were taken from the front of a home.
- At 10:33 p.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 13600 block of Lois Street. Someone slashed four tires on a truck.
Saturday, March 14:
- At 9:31 a.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Hancock. Someone broke out the windshield of a vehicle.
- At 2:39 a.m., theft was reported at Sheetz in Williamsport. A bracelet was taken.
- At 6:40 p.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 12400 block of Funkhouser Road. Someone broke into a home that was under construction.
