Church revival



Hagerstown First Church of God, at 1015 Rosehill Ave., will hold a revival today through Friday at 7 p.m. There will be speakers each night. Today's revival will begin with a school choir.

Day nursery



Hagerstown Day Nursery will hold a basket/Pampered Chef bingo Sunday, March 29, at the BPO Elks Lodge on Robinwood Drive. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m. and bingo starts at 1 p.m.

The event will include raffles, door prizes, tip jars and King Tuts. The nursery is a nonprofit child-development center for those ages 2 to 5.

Faith and Film Series



The Interfaith Coalition of Washington County continues its Faith and Film Series on Thursday nights.

The schedule: Thursday - "God and Buddha;" Thursday, April 16 - "Heart of Islam"

A video on an interfaith issue will be shown, followed by small-group discussion. The series is held at Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, East Washington and Mulberry streets, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Museum raffle



The raffle drawing to benefit Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will be Thursday at the museum's annual member meeting, which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum, R. Bruce Carson Jewelers or through the museum's Web site at www.wcmfa.org.

Fundraiser for museum planned at Hempen Hill



The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts has teamed with Hempen Hill BBQ on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, to offer a twist in your celebrating.

Hempen Hill BBQ, in Fountainhead Plaza off Pennsylvania Avenue in Hagerstown, will donate 15 percent of all lunch and dinner sales as a fundraising event titled Washington County Museum of Fine Arts Benefit Day at Hempen Hill.

Patrons can help the museum raise money by presenting the server with a special "WCMFA Benefit Day" coupon. The coupons are available at the museum.

Bridge Club



The Hagerstown Bridge Club meets Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m at the South End Fire Hall.

The club is looking for new members. If you would like to learn how to play, stop by the fire hall.

Lions Club



Tuesday - The Hagerstown Lions Club will hold its business and administrative meeting.

Indoor picnic



The Women's Club will hold its indoor picnic Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m.

The menu includes three meats, two salads, baked beans and a surprise dessert, along with lemonade and coffee.

Tickets cost $15.

Entertainment will be provided by the Sophisti'Cats from Williamsport High School.
