How is Washington County Hospital responding to the economic crisis in the United States? How will the new hospital facility be different from the existing hospital?
To answer these and other questions, Washington County Hospital officials will host a open forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. The public is invited.
Planned speakers are a variety of hospital officials, including James P. Hamill, president and CEO of Washington County Hospital.
Hamill said the forum will cover three general areas:
Recently instituted hospital programs and technologies, such as an effort to recruit nurses, and efforts to make health care more available to people who have no health insurance.
New programs and technologies, such as a partnership with the University of Pittsburgh to provide Web-supported drug therapy following a stroke.
