Shirley Ann Heath, 69, of Knoxville, Md., passed away on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 23, 1939, in Brunswick, Md., and was the daughter of the late Samuel M. Marken and Catherine Fisher Marken.
She was a retired assistant manager with the B&O Railroad at Brunswick.
She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Brunswick.
She was a lifelong member and two-term Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 1136. She enjoyed time spent at the Eagles and traveling with them. She enjoyed playing cards with the Queen's Anne and will be greatly missed. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by one daughter, Terry Miller and companion, David Smith of Brunswick; one son, Samuel Heath and companion Pat Sandy of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Jessica Hines and husband, Tony of Knoxville, Md., and Lisa Heath of Brunswick; two dearly loved great-grandchildren, Anthony "TJ" Hines Jr. and Elizabeth Hines; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
