Eggs for purchase

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, at 1020 Maryland Ave., is selling eggs again this year. Peanut butter and coconut eggs are available at 75 cents each. Orders can be placed Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The last day to order is March 22. Orders may be picked up on Mondays and Wednesdays through April 8. Bridge Club

The Hagerstown Bridge Club is in search of players to participate in weekly bridge games. Those interested in learning to play are also invited to attend. The club meets Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. at the South End Fire Hall. For more information, call Tom at 301-582-4552.

The South Hagerstown High School PTA meeting is today at 6 p.m.

Family night

The Roy Rogers Restaurant at 1719 Massey Blvd. and the Williamsport Blue Band Boosters are sponsoring Blue Band Night Wednesday, March 18, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Blue Band recently purchased new uniforms and the money raised will be used to help pay them off. Just mention the band when you order and Roy Rogers will give a portion of the bill to the New Uniform Fund.

Scholarships

The South High Alumni Association will award two $1,000 scholarships to two South High graduating seniors this spring. The recipients of the scholarships must have plans to attend an accredited university, college, junior college or community college, or business/technical/vocational school. Applications will be available in the South Hagerstown High School guidance office. The deadline for receiving applications is Wednesday, April 1.
