GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- A 26-year-old Greencastle man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle accident in Antrim Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police and Franklin County Coroner Jeffrey R. Conner.
Aaron Lee Ganoe was pronounced dead at the scene of the 8:14 p.m. accident near 12376 Grant Shook Road, Conner said.
According to police, Ganoe was driving a 2002 Honda north on Grant Shook Road when witnesses said they saw him pass another vehicle on a turn at a high rate of speed. He lost control of his vehicle, which left the east side of the roadway, rolled onto its side and struck a utility pole.
Ganoe, who was not wearing a seat belt, died of multiple blunt force trauma to his head and chest, Conner said.
