Great Composers Lecture Series continues at library March 25

Washington County Free Library, in partnership with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, will present lecture No. 2 in a four-part Great Composers Lecture Series Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m.

The lecture will be at the library's Central Branch at 100 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown. The remaining lectures will be April 29 and May 27 at 7 p.m. Information about each lecture is available at the library's Web site at www.washcolibrary.org. The series is free, but reservations are requested. Call 301-739-3250, ext. 136, to reserve a seat.

Lecture No.2, "Cosmic Destiny: Star Wars and the Planets" will be presented by David Gonzol, an assistant professor and director of music education at Shepherd University, where he also serves as a Kodaly certification instructor.
