CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Betty Jo Adkins Infinger, 71, of Charles Town, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the home of her daughter.

Born July 20, 1937, in Lookout, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Winright Adkins and Roma Hollands Adkins Hayes.

Her husband, Edward Lucius Infinger Sr., died Aug. 21, 1978.

She had been a nurse's aide.

She was a member of Bolivar Pentecostal Church of Christ.

She was a member of a Moose chapter in Lakeland, Fla.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Viands of Charles Town; two sons, Edward Infinger Jr. and Franklin B. Infinger, both of Martinsburg, W.Va.; three sisters, Shelby J. Barton of Elgin, Ill., Pauline C. Beasley of Lakeland and Nancy C. Reimers of Clintwood, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Bev Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
