FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. -- Geraldine V. Haid, 77, of 218 Waverly Court, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at her home.
Born July 14, 1931, in Zullinger, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Martin L. Diffenbaucher Sr. and Grace C. Martin Diffenbaucher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Haid, in 1995.Â
She attended Waynesboro (Pa.) High School.
She was a homemaker.
She attended Fayetteville Church of God.
She is survived by five children, Linda Henry and Melissa Humwood, both of Fayetteville, Grace Mays and Charles Haid III, both of Chambersburg, Pa. and Joseph Gardner of Pond Bank, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her companion and caregiver, Shirley Palmer.
