CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Clifford R. "Ray" Truax, 63, of 585 Nelson St., died Friday, March 6, 2009, at his home.
Born April 14, 1945, in Everett, Pa., he was the son of the late Arthur and Edna Wertz Truax.
He was employed as a butcher by the Butcher Shoppe in Chambersburg.
He was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Mary T. Stillwaggon Truax, whom he married Aug. 29, 1991; four children, Jodi Truax of Winchester, Va., Timothy Truax of Chambersburg, Jason Truax of Washington, D.C. and William Truax at home; two stepchildren, Jamie Kauffman and Tobie Scott, both of Chambersburg; one brother, Ernie Truax of Hancock; one grandchild; and five stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Truax.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Christian Life Assembly of God in Chambersburg. The Rev. Joseph Pickens will officiate. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.
