Frederick Dermatology Associates
FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick Dermatology Associates has opened at 45 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 209.
The full-service dermatology practice will treat children and adults for conditions ranging from acne, moles and warts to psoriasis and skin cancer.
Dr. Kevin Hogan and Dr. Kathleen Moe come to the practice from Georgetown University Hospital.
The practice plans to sponsor a free skin cancer screening this spring.
Just Cabinets
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Just Cabinets joined the fight against breast cancer in 2008 by partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and raising $36,000 to benefit the Philadelphia, Northeastern Pennsylvania and Maryland affiliates of the organization.
All 20 Just Cabinets stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware collected donations from vendors, customers and employees. Customers also helped fight breast cancer with their purchase of Komen for the Cure specialty items in stores. Just Cabinets matched all donations by employees and customers dollar for dollar.
For its 2009 campaign, Just Cabinets is working with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Homewood Suites by Hilton
Homewood Suites Hagerstown has been recognized with a merit award as one of the Hilton hotel chain's top five new hotels in 2008.
Ninety hotels were recognized in 12 categories for exemplary customer service, adherence to Homewood Suites values and leadership within the industry.
The award is based on customer service scores and information related to the percentage of extended stay business.
