ERIE, Pa. -- Cumberland Valley Christian School lost to Dominion (Ga.) in the second round of the National Christian Schools Athletic Association tournament.

CVCS (22-6) will play in the third-place game today at 4:30.

Nick Bunting had 21 points and Austin Sanders had 10 for the Blazers.

On Thursday, Tyler Larson led five players in double figures with 22 points as CVCS defeated the Wolfpack, 77-54. Sanders finished with 17 points, Bunting had 14 and Scott Levy and J.C. Watson each had 11.

ERIE, Pa. -- Armando Miller had 20 points and nine rebounds, and Broadfording defeated Xenia in the Division 2 losers bracket of the National Christian Schools Tournament.

Gabe Hirsch added six rebounds and five assists for the Lions (21-11), who fell behind 18-11 in the first quarter, then held Xenia to eight or fewer points in each of the remaining three quarters.

Greg Mattens had 22 points for Xenia.

On Thursday night, Broadfording lost its opening game against Imani Christian out of Pittsburgh, 62-59. The Lions outscored Imani (15-2) in each of the first three quarters but were outscored 24-14 in the fourth.

Miller had 19 points, eight rebounds and four steals to lead the Lions. Pete Cradduck had 10 points and four rebounds, and Steven Economos added 10 rebounds.

Brian Prince led Imani with 23 points.

Broadfording will play another losers' bracket game against Bordersville this morning at 9, and with a win would play in the fifth-place game at 4 p.m.
