Cinderella's Closet

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Cinderella's Closet Consignment Sale will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 7, at Walkersville High School.

The consignment sale allows students to consign dresses that are gently worn for $30 or less. Students then shop at the sale.

Habitat volunteer orientation

Habitat for Humanity will hold volunteer orientation meetings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12; and 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at 100 Charles St., Hagerstown.

Meeting set for artists, supporters

City of Hagerstown Arts and Entertainment District seeks input from artists, musicians, designers and other individuals and organizations involved in the arts.


A meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Academy Theater, Banquet & Conference Center, 58 E. Washington St., Hagerstown.

Used books sought for sale

The Hagerstown Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is preparing for its 43rd annual used book sale, to be held Wednesday, April 22, to Sunday, April 26, this year at the Washington County Agricultural and Education Center.

To donate books, tapes, CDs, or DVDs, take them to the Washington County Free Library by Wednesday, April 1.
