MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Mary F. Stephens, 84, of Martinsburg, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at Heartland of Martinsburg while under the care of Hospice.
Born Aug. 25, 1924, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry Allen and Mary Elizabeth Clemons Breeden.
She retired in 1991 from City Hospital.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by one daughter, Jesscile Stephens of Martinsburg; two sons, Herbert Stephens Sr. of Rogersville, Tenn., and Charles G. Stephens of Martinsburg; two sisters, Josephine Frye of Martinsburg and Geraldine Whirley of Inwood, W.Va.; two brothers, Paul Breeden of Kearneysville, W.Va., and Allen Breeden of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
