The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cats

Young DSH, orange, found on Village Mill Drive.

Adult DSH, gray and black, found on Noland Drive.

Adult DSH, orange and white, found on Young Avenue.

Adult DSH, rust and black, found on Heather Drive.

Adult DSH, black, found on Walnut Street.

Adult DSH, brown and black, found on Grade and Forever roads.

Adult Manx, black and beige, found on Boonsboro Mountain Road.
