Tech High names students of month

Heaven Burkhammer and Randall Cumblidge have been named students of the month for February at Washington County Technical High School.

Heaven is enrolled in health occupations, honors precalculus, advanced-placement language, honors physics, honors world history and biomedical science.

Heaven enjoys reading, mostly fiction, and taking long car rides.

She loves to spend time with her family and friends when she's not busy with school or work. Heaven also enjoys making her own jewelry. After high school, she is considering either West Virginia University or Goucher College.

Heaven would like to thank her parents for being a strong base of support.

Randy is enrolled in printing and graphics, honors physics, honors world history, algebra II and English 11.

Randy enjoys driving around and spending time with family and friends. Randy works part time at his father's printing shop, Minute Man Press, in Hagerstown. Randy attends classes at Hagerstown Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, plays bass guitar in his church's youth band and in his own band.


Randy hopes to attend Hagerstown Community College after graduating from high school.

Randy would like to thank his parents and teachers for all of their support.
