SHADY GROVE, Pa. - Beulah M. Kell, 90, of 1733 Buchanan Trail East, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital.

Born April 25, 1918, in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Guy and Vertie Hess Fox.

Her husband, John A. Kell Jr., died April 2, 1992. They were married July 9, 1938.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Hades Church of the Brethren near Waynesboro.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris J. Addlesberger and E. Faye Stouffer, both of Greencastle, Pa.; one son, Timothy E. Kell of Shady Grove; one sister, Mary Jane Smith of Greencastle; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan M. Gingell; one son, John R. Kell Sr.; two sisters, Esther Stockslager and Edna Miller; and one brother, Guy Fox.


Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Hades Church of the Brethren near Waynesboro. Ministers Dean Gearhart, George Martin and Donald Clapper will officiate. Burial will be in Browns Mill Cemetery, Kauffman, Pa.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, and at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday.
