A $3,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two women who robbed Susquehanna Bank's branch at Valley Mall in Halfway on Monday, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Department.
The reward is offered by the Maryland Association for Bank Security, Sgt. Roy Harsh said.
Police aren't saying how much money was taken in the robbery.
Harsh said the sheriff's department was alerted about the robbery shortly before 1 p.m.
Harsh said police were given the following descriptions of the robbers:
o One was a black woman in her early to mid-20s, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and heavyset. She had noticeable pock marks on her face, possibly acne scars. She wore a black jacket and a black hat that covered her ears. She was the one who displayed a gun.
o The other was a black woman, also in her early to mid-20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and a little thinner than the first woman. She was wearing dark clothing and a ball cap.
