Mason-Dixon Scouts have successful popcorn sale

In the fall, the Boy Scouts sell popcorn for their unit and the Mason-Dixon Council. The money is used to develop activities for the Scouts in the area. The Scouts received prizes for their efforts.

Gary Little, popcorn chairman, presented the top sellers with certificates and they are as follows:

First place, Aaron Little, Pack 54, Hagerstown; second place, Antuane Babcock, Pack 43, Great Cove, Pa.; third place, Aaron Hazard, Troop 143, Mercersburg, Pa.; fourth place, Cody Shreves, Pack 95, Greencastle, Pa.; fifth place, Joseph Pasquarello, Troop 287, Greencastle; sixth place, Devon Little, Troop 10, Hagerstown; seventh place, Ryan Clever, Troop 143, Mercersburg; eighth place, Alexander Tibbens, Troop 62, Chewsville; ninth place, Daniel Frederick, Pack 66, Hagerstown; 10th place, Tyler Adkins, Pack 22, Hagerstown; 11th place, Jerrett Stepler, Troop 143, Mercersburg; 12th place, Daniel Clever, Pack 143, Mercersburg.

Bob Holsinger, assistant Scout executive, presented Aaron Little with a gift card for selling more than $2,000 worth of popcorn.

The boys and family members were treated to a pizza dinner after the awards ceremony.
