Information about boys camp



GREENCASTLE, Pa. - An informational meeting about Bald Eagles Boys Camp, for emotionally handicapped boys between the ages of 10 andn 15, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Green Grove Gardens, 1032 Buchanan Trail East. Spay Day USA deals



Tuesday, Feb. 24, is nationally recognized Spay Day USA and the Humane Society of Washington County is collaborating with local veterinarians at Longmeadow Animal Hospital, Antietam Valley Animal Hospital and Mid Atlantic Veterinary Clinic to promote the neutering and spaying of feral and stray cats in Washington County.

This program is being offered through the Humane Society of Washington County's CatSnip program. For a $20 co-pay for each cat a Washington County resident will be issued a voucher that will cover the cost of the surgery and pain medicine, a rabies vaccination and testing for some contagious diseases. Fundraising opportunity



Hempen Hill BBQ will help local nonprofit organizations, clubs and teams raise money by hosting benefit nights any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, when 15 percent of food sales from lunch and dinner will be donated back to the organization signed up for that day.
