MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Thomas G. Miller, 73, of Martinsburg, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at his home.

Born April 9, 1935, in Shepherdstown, W.Va., he was the son of the late William E. Miller and Mabel Price Miller.

He was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School.

He retired from General Motors with more than 30 years of service.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church.

He was a member of the American Legion of Charles Town, W.Va. and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 120 of Martinsburg.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Madeline Angelo Miller; two daughters, Gina Neel of Martinsburg and Robin Butts of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; four sisters, Helen Foutz of Shepherdstown, Lucille O'Brien and Kathryn McNeal, both of Hagerstown and Marquerite Shields of Elkins, W.Va.; one brother, Daniel C. Miller of Adamstown, Md.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Baker; and five brothers, Stuart Miller, James Miller, William Miller, Guy Miller, and Lewis Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Inwood, W.Va. The Rev. Brian Shoda will be celebrant.

Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel in Inwood.
