Allegany beats HCC in JuCo semis

LARGO, Md. -- Jeff Early had 16 points and T.J. Granger added 14 points to help Allegany College (24-5) defeat Hagerstown Community College 80-75 on Saturday in the semifinals of the Maryland JuCo Tournament at Prince George's Community College.

Amaurys Fermin had 16 points and 11 assists to pace the Hawks (21-8), who had five players score in double figures. Jordan Brooks had 13 points, Raylin Brown had 12 points and three steals, Jeremy Myers had 12 points and five steals, and Raasan Young added 10 points, six rebounds and three blocks.

Isiah Hill had seven points and five blocks for HCC, which will face Garrett Community College on Saturday in the semifinals of the Region XX Tournament.
