NEERSVILLE, Va. -- Beulah Virginia Staubs, 97, of Neersville, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Va.

Born March 5, 1911, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John Wilbert Edwards and Martha Hackley Edwards.

She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Neersville.

She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Mateer of Arlington, Va., and Agnes Hough of Leesburg, Va.; two sons, the Rev. Louis Staubs of Niles, Mich., and Earl Staubs of Arlington, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Franklin Staubs; two sons, Gilbert Staubs and Paul R. Staubs; five sisters; and four brothers.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, W.Va. The Rev. Philip Brumback and the Rev. Louis Staubs will officiate. Burial will be in Hillsboro (Va.) Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
