MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Calvert Lewis Estill, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at City Hospital.

Born in March 1924, in Memphis, Tenn., he was the son of Calvert Lewis Estill Sr. and Robbie Lee Bennett Estill.

He attended West Virginia University and was a 1945 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy.

He served in the occupation of Japan and the Korean War.

He was a real estate broker and a certified general appraiser, licensed in six states.

He is survived by his wife, June Parker Estill; one daughter, Elizabeth E. Stultz of Charleston, W.Va.; two sons, John R. Estill of Carrboro, N.C., and James Calvert Estill of Shoreline, Wash.; and 13 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
