Lou Ellen Michael, 70, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at her home.
Born June 23, 1938, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late John C. Morgret and Louise Yost Morgret.
She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs (W.Va.) High School and attended Hagerstown Community College.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Webster Michael; one daughter, Tina L. Horst of Hagerstown; one son, William C. Smith of McConnellsburg, Pa.; one brother, John C. Morgret of Bedford, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Virginia Avenue Church of God in Hagerstown. The Rev. A. Paul Harne will officiate.
