BRIEF

Soccer goalkeeping instruction

Williamsport High School boys soccer coach Chris Downs will be offering private goalkeeping instruction this spring and summer for boys and girls ages 12 and up. Students will be grouped according to ability level, from club to JV to varsity. Downs will also train keepers who are committed to playing in college before their preseason camps begin. Downs played collegiately at Washington College, and holds a 'D' license from the MSYSA and a National Diploma and Goalkeeping license from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Fees for training will be $30/hour for club/high school players or $45 for a 90-minute session for college-bound players. Training will begin in April. For more information, call Downs at 301-223-8322.
