HCC 95, Chesapeake 81

Amaurys Fermin led Hagerstown with 22 points and 14 assists as the Hawks knocked off Chesapeake in the first round of the Maryland JuCo tournament.

Raylin Brown scored 18 points while Raason Young added 16 and Jordan Brooks had 15 for the Hawks (20-7). Will Taylor also had 13 rebounds in the win.

The Hawks continue tournament play Friday at Prince George's.
