FANNETTSBURG, Pa. - Edna A. Goddard, 92, of Fannettsburg, and formerly of Hackensack, N.J., died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born Jan. 2, 1917, in Wood Ridge, N.J., and she was the daughter of the late August W. and Amanda Ketschke Gerecke.

Her husband, Charles H. Goddard, died in 1969.

She was employed from 1934 to 1963 at American Hard Rubber Co.

She was a member of Lower Path Valley Presbyterian Church, where she served as Sunday school superintendent, organist, president of the Women's Association, and member and past chair of Path Valley Homemakers.

She is survived by one nephew, Robert Gerecke of California. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Admirand; and one brother, August R. Gerecke.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, Dry Run, Pa. Burial will follow in Hackensack Cemetery.

There will be a viewing one hour prior to the services Thursday.
