He was part of the ministerial staff and a member of Mount Zion AME Church in Duffields.
He was co-founder and CEO of Men of Valor and Vision, and helped numerous veterans in the transition from the VA Hospital to the Martinsburg community.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Betty L. Weedon Rowe; four daughters, Yolanda Harris of Hagerstown, Donna Scott of Frederick, Md., Shena Daniels of Martinsburg and Shelly Rowe; one son, Keith Rowe; one sister, Brenda Rowe of South Carolina; three brothers, Franklin Rowe of California, Marvin Rowe of South Carolina and Richard Rowe of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Rowe.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Pastor Robert E. Gidney will officiate. Military graveside services will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
