Little League registration

Conococheague Little League registration will be held at Williamsport Town Hall Thursday and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If this is a player's first time registering, please bring a birth certificate. For more information, call Walter Williams at 301-331-6111.

Garden club to meet

The Potomac Garden Club is meeting Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 12:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 35 W. Potomac St.

Jason Swope, a certified landscape technician and Master Gardener, will offer a program titled "Clip, Cut, Shear-Pruning for the Home Landscape."


Fundraiser games set

Williamsport High School is hosting an alumni men's basketball doubleheader to raise funds for the families of two WHS students who are battling cancer. There will be two games, starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, in the school's gymnasium. Admission will be $5.

Blue Band to hold bingo

The Williamsport High School Blue Band Boosters will hold their annual basket bingo Sunday, March 1, in the banquet room of the Williamsport Fire Station.

Tickets cost $25 a person, and include 25 games of bingo and lunch. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon and bingo will start at 1:30 p.m. Seating is limited.
